DVD-R to DVD-R

what is the best program to make a backup of a movie allready on a DVD-R to another DVD-R? I have used RecordNow (not MAX) and the DVD-R's i get out of that work for about 30 minutes and then get all pixelated and skip and finally stop playing. I know the orgional DVD-R that i'm trying to make a copy of works just fine. TIA!

i'm using HP recordNow,never had any problems making an exact copy of a dvd-r

HP Record Now is just a version of Veritas Record Now, but it ships with the HP recorders.

use dvddecrypter to make an iso
use dvddecrypter to burn the iso

You should buy a verbatim dvd-rw disc, this showld work on every standalone player. If it works you know it's not a software problem but a cheap disc problem.

Like boas999 said.. DVD Decrypter is about the simplest way of copying a dvd-r.

i would really like to just make a 1 to 1 copy, direct from my dvd-rom drive to the dvd-r drive. is there a way to do that?
