I'm looking for a place to get DVD+R and/or DVD-r discs that are both cheap but well made and work with the Sony DRU-500A 1.0f.
I tried a simple search on this board and came up with a bunch of places to get cheap "cheap" media, but I want to archive data and such so I don't want media that will suddenly stop working a year or two from now.
So I'm not looking for a 90 cent noname brand DVD+R, but the cheapest place to get a good brand.
Oh and is there any difference in how long DVD+RW lasts as compared to DVD+R? Meaning if I have data archived on DVD+RW discs should I move them to DVD+R?

If it's that important, just bite the bullet and pay for Verbatim. Just search for dvd media in google and take your pick.
Don't know about R/RW reliability but I'm sure that someone will answer shortly.

I have been using the 2x ritek media. I picked up a 50 spindle for $39.99 at pc club last week. I have not burned 1 bad disc yet. Prior to this I used the memorex and they worked but only 1x. Either of the two worked just fine. I would do a search for ritek media.
