  1. hi

    I got a problem I have 4 media files(avi) with lengthes between 43 and 45 minutes.
I want to reencode them to burn them as an XVCD. (all 4 parts onto 1 700MB-CD).
I did it before but I cannot remember how I did it maybe I used different versions of templates/tmpgenc but after encoding them nero says that the files created are too large to be burned together.
the media files are like thisfrom virtual dub)
    Video stream
frame size , fps (µs per frame): 448x384, 25.000fps (40000µs)
    decompressor: DivX 5.0.1 Codec
    Audio stream
    sampling rate: 48000Hz
    compression: PCM

I have used several TmpGenc templates:
    160kbsPhenosXVideoCDPAL.mcf
    180kbsPhenosXVideoCDPAL.mcf
    KVCD-LBR-11-12-2002-352x288-_PAL_-PLUS.mcf

I am pretty sure that I have used the first one last time I did it but recently I found the last template and the autor claimed to offer a template which could create 180minute CDs...

maybe the overhead is the problem but I do not now how to reduce it

If someone can help me, please do it!!

    thx a lot for reading

  3. even if noone cares... I found a solution finally...

with "TMPGenc version 2.57" and the "160kbsPhenosXVideoCDPAL.mcf" template and some additional configuration I managed to recreate one of those XVCDs (4*45minutes)
