I am combining two avi videos. They are each 360,000 KB. I made a menu for the videos and when am ready to convert I noticed that the end result would be 5.3 GB. I know I can use Autofit, but I do not understand why the DVD would be so large with just the two avi files. I had combined and converted the files with other software and there was not any need to shrink them. I am using the 2.5 release.

Only runtime matters when you convert - not file size. Your 2 AVIs may well be > 3 hours together for all we know. Use Autofit.
