Search the forum for CAM, and BLOCK and QUALITY. You should get several thousand hits on this one . The problem is because your source is CAM. It requires far more bitrate, than say an average DVD rip. There are plenty of suggestions to be found on optimizing bitrate.

Of the top of my head, since you already have a DVD burner, try using CVD resolutions (half D1 - 352x480). This is a valid DVD resolution, but it has half the bitrate requirements of full D1. Encode your moving using TMPGenc, or optimally, CCE. Set your MIN, AVG, and MAX values to standard DVD values ( 0, 5000, 9000 respectively). This should give your shakeyvision plenty of bitrate to chew on. Try only a small sample, and view the result.

Don't forget to search the forum though. Too many things you can try, like multipass VBR, temporal smoothers, 2-d filters, tripod's, etc...
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...

  3. Thanks for the suggestions -I will try all of them. Did try Tmpgenc-may have had the settings wrong as it was one of the worst at encoding, myDVD has been the best so far, but far from optimal.
