Ok I've tried so many things and I'm almost there but I just had to ask for help.
I've got a P4 800mhz, with 256 ram, I'm capturing using Videowave 5 with my xstacy everything card. Now the thing is I only seem to be able to capture with good enough quality to uncompressed avi. Everytime I try recompressing I get tons of frame drops and synch problems. No problem I found out how to convert avi to dvd with tmpgenc. Now I've got my vhs captured to uncompressed avi, upgraded my tpmg and am trying to convert to mpeg. I can convert great, quality is how I like it, but now I'm not getting any audio at all. I was before I upgraded.
I also tried to seperate the audio and video, this was good but when I added the audio back in, it was out of synch.
Anyone help with holes in my process. All I need is to get this audio in and in synch and I'm off to the races.
Thanks.
