I have made 6 DVDs with DVD2DVD-R but in 3 of them (goldfinger, matrix and World is not enough) the subtitles are out of synch (actually they seem to go too fast and end up a good 10 seconds before the person speaks at the end of the movie.) is there any way to correct this?

never had th problem you have but if you look on the doom9 site, you can find the link to the site under links, there is a guide on syncronizing subtitles.
