  1. I am using a memorex 32023251 DVD+R DVDburner (internal) but I can not seem to get it to work with DVDXCOPY. I am using version 1.1 of DVDXCOPY and trying to do a backup of Batman - which is a single layer DVD. From everything I understand, this should be the easiest way in the world to make backup copies of my DVDs that I have at home, but when I try, it freezes at about 79% finished.

My system is a 2.53ghz P4, 512 DDR ram 333mhz so I don't think this should be causing my problems, but would more ram possibly fix this? Any ideas would be helpful, or if there is another way I can get the same result just as easily, I would be just as happy. I was able to burn a couple of MPEGs onto DVD which I had capped with my DVCII dazzle card, so I think the burner works ok.

I am definately new to the DVD burning aspect of things, so any help you can give would be great.

    Thanks

I would go to the www.dvdxcopy.com website and download 1.3, which is supposed to fix some problems. Check the forum there for installation tips.

  3. Did version 1.3 fix the problem?
If not you could use DVD Decrypter to get an exact copy since it is a DVD5 movie. Use ISO Mode Read/Write to do it...it will be faster than DVDXcopy too.

DVDXcopy was freezing up on me a while back but only on one movie. I think it was scratched because nothing ever did read it right and there was a bad skip when viewing it too.
