Pinnacle LINX(USB), no sound

[Conundrum]

I got Video from LINX, but not sound. I used AMCAP.EXE to do the test, and I can't select LINX as my source, only sound card.

I have reinstalled many times, but same result.

How should I solve it?

I bought a Linx a few weeks ago because it had 100% rebate at CompUSA. I was curious as to whether I could make a decent VCD with it.

I tried capturing with VirtualDub and other programs and couldn't get sound. However, by loading the included Pinnacle Studio7, it worked fine. I didn't have the motivation to try to determine how to make other programs work, so I would suggest Studio7 or Studio8.
