    I have used this usb 500 device to capture analog video in mpg and avi 720x480 with several software programs with no problem for several years. After a break of a few weeks, when I try to capture, I get a green frame with a stripe of image across the top. This from two different sources (Sony 8mm cams) and three softwares (WinDVD Creator,Virtualdub and Windows Moviemaker). Capture drive freshly cleaned up and defraged. This happened once before in June of this year and I posted here and got no help. See here. Hopeing for better luck this time. In June, the problem resolved itself after a few weeks but I have no idea why. I would rather not wait for magic and instead, find the cure.

    Does the captured file have the green bar? Or just the preview?

    In the capture, the green is replaced with black.
