This week I want to know what your favorite type of music is. Rap, Rock, Heavy Metal, Trance, House, etc. Due to the vastness of the genres, only one answer is taken.

    My answer:
    Punk

Punk music is the best. The energy of the music is great. But I only like punk music where the singers sing, no screaming and yelling.

okay, this is better than the mac/pc debate, I'll bite:

"slap-happy pop" (I love all others but embarrassingly enough I seem to gravitate to the perky goofy feel good stuff) like Ben Folds Five, Mathew Sweet, Blur or Presidents of the U.S.A.

Metal, stretching from its roots in the 60's through present day...

Though "nu" metal really just sounds the same.

Imagine Led Zeppelin through Korn, it's about my range.
