    Is it possible to clean up a AVI picture. Ive downloaded some movies that have a horrible picture and sound. Is it possible to clear these up in anyway?

    No it is not possible without making the picture more blury. You could try open the video in Virtualdub/Nandub and add some filter(video->filters) and see how it looks.
