    so i need to convert these vcds i have to svcd. but using tmpgenc its taking hours for each movie to convert from mpeg1 to mpeg2.

    what can i do to make them play without converting?

    update: i did the header trick only i didnt use simple multiplex i did regular multiplex and i went from mpeg1 to mpeg2 and it worked fine.

    it didnt work with the simple multiplex.
