  1. I've managed to get several DIVX files converted to SVCD.

I'd like to know about a few DVD2SVCD settings.

Why does the program run the quality check several times (which adds to the overall time). Is there a way to bypass this and pick a good overall setting?

The other question is why so many extra files after a conversion? There's almost 3 gig of files in the folder. Do I need them? Is there a way to get DVD2SVCD to delete them on the fly?

    Thanks!!

  2. I've often wondered about the many files myself. I'm sure there is a reason for them. The thing that made me leave them alone was the fact that I used to use dvdx 2.0 and vcdeasy to burn and encode my films and it was horrible quality. Know and use dvd2svcd and they are all exact copies of the dvds. I would just leave the setting alone so you continue to get the quality movies.

The only things I wouldn't mind knowing how to get rid of are the muxed .mpg files it creates. I don't think we need those. But they are nice to have so you can view the film before you burn the .cue/bin files.
