Ulead Videostudio 6 cross-fade??

Can anyone tell me how to make a simple cross-fade transition from one scene to another without creating an overlay track or using the fade to black effect?

There are enough special effects in Videostudio, but the basic cross-fade seems to be missing.

Is it at all possible to do this in Ulead Videostudio 6? Is it perhaps so obvious that I'm overlooking something??

After some experimenting I found out the vfx file for the crossfade did exist and was present. If you install videostudio, then the most recent patch and then the effect library it does not add these effects to the library. First you need to install the effects then apply the patch... sigh..
