    pioneer released new firmware for the 105, not sure what
    or why,post results if you want

    tried it and now i can't burn using geardvdpe. up until the firmware upgrade i burned dvd's flawlessly 100% now the prog gives me a callibration error. the only thing that has changed is the firmware so this must be causing the prob.

    nero works fine but i don't like this prog and would much rather use gear.

    Anyone know about "generic" discs and this firmware?

    Princo 2x?
    Ritek 2x or 4x?

    Also, can one retrograde back to 0.52?
