Went through one of the dvd2dvr guides on this site using Smartripper and Spruceup. Here's my question. I have a dual layer movie that will still fit on 1 dvd+rw minus some subtitles and stuff. Went through the guide and burned resulting VIDEO_VTS and AUDIO_VTS folders with NERO. The movie played great in my standalond dvd only without the sound. Should my VIDEO_VTS folder contain the ac3 sound file, because it does not appear to be in this folder. The AUDIO_VTS that was created is just empty. Somebody please help me.

Was there sound in simulate? Are you using the trial version or full registered version? Was ac.3 file pulled in after the M2v file?

Full version of Spruce, there is sound in the simulate now as I have redone it I didn't check before, ac3 file was pulled in after the m2v. But I need to know if the ac3 file should be in the VIDEO_VTS when burning. Thanks.

Spruce combines the .M2V and the AC3 into .VOB files which are placed in the VIDEO_TS folder, you should not have anything in the AUDIO_TS folder on 99.99% of DVD's, Just burn the contents of the directory that spruce created, you do not need to add anything.
Look at the directory of an original DVD for an example of what files you should have. -
i used smartripper to rip the movie only files from the DVD using the Demux option. Now i have a folder with the VOBs and an AC3 file, how do merge those back together?
