    Sorry if this is not the right place to post or it's wrong or something.

    Anyways I got this music vid from a friend and if I do properties on it it says divx for the video and mp3 for the audio. What I don't understand is that WMP says it can't find a suitable combination of filters to play it back.

    I have DivX 5.02 installed and the standard MP3 codecs as I've used them for encoding my own music vids.

    Anyone any ideas ??

    try installing the nimo codec pack, also r u sure the vid is complete as it will give this error if its incomplete or the index is missing

    It's alright cheers, I loaded it into VirtualDub and it's sorted it out
