sound compression codec unknown

hiya, ive just downloaded die another day and altho the picture is excellent i cannot get sound to activate.
ive tried, goldwave, virtualdub, install nimo lit codecs open with windows media player, real one player and quicktime.

when i look at properties of the film in virtualdub they are

sampling rate 48,000hz
channels 2 stereo
sample precision 0-bit
compression unknown (tag 2000)
preload skew 1536 samples (0.03s)
no of frames 62756
min avg......

so theres deffinatly something there isnt there?

if anyone can help id be realy gratefull, as im stuck on this.

You can download and use gspot to identify the required codec bit IIRC it is 2 chan Ac3.
