    Will the dazzle work on a AMD 1.4? I thinking of buying a new pc and looking at the AMD1.4 and would like to get the dazzle2

    I don't think the problem with the Dazzle DVC2 is the processor, but rather the motherboard. I would check with some Dazzle users and find out what motherboards are working for them. In my experience, don't plan on any decent support from Dazzle after buying the product, so make sure you check around and find some systems that are successfully using it.

    I'm succesfully using the Dazzle DVC II with an Asus A7V Motherboard and an Athlon 1.33 GHz processor with no problems. I run both WinXP and WinME and they both capture video fine.

    From what Ive read, its the shitty VIA chipset coupled with AMD Athalon chips that normally have the problems.

    Im running AMD-751 chipset with Athalon 800, guess Id be okay!
