Need help with DVD movies

I am really new to this and was needing some advice. Anyways I hear about these sites where you can download movies and burn them to a regular CD using a plain old CD burner, then you can take that burnt CD and play it in a DVD player? Is this actually possible? If so what kind of software do I need to use? Any tutuorials? Where is the best place to download movies? I appreciate any help....now back to reading numerous threads here.

Well, you've come to the right place regarding your question, unfortunately we do not condone any warez related information or suppliment on getting any movies (warez) althought Im glad to help you on how to put a movie onto cd and make it play on your DVD player...

I would just tell you to check out this site for the guides and stuff but before you do, just listen to what i have to say...

If you want to put a movie onto a CD so then it can be played on your standalone dvd player then thats not a big deal, where you get your movies and how is not my problem, its all a matter of having the following requierements and here they are:

DVD player (make sure it supports VCD/SVCD with CDR compatibility)

Now like I said, we do not condone pirated movies here, but if your looking to try out for maybe music videos, then sure, goto kazaa and download a music video, but no support here on movies....
