Help VCD To MPG?

Well I did a stupid thing -

I created a VCD photoslide show to be played in a DVD player.. Well some of my relatives dont have a DVD player but have a computer.

So I need to take the VCD I created an convert it to a MPG file and burn it to a CDR

But I dont know how to ??? what type of software can create this.?

stick the VCD in your puter
copy the *.dat file out of the mpegav? folder on the VCD to your hard drive
rename it to whatever.mpg
done
