When I burn some avi files with Nero-they play upside down on my DVD player. This doesn't happen with all of my avi files. Mainly it's the ones that describe themselves as video clips. I am new and have not learned yet how to convert files--most of my time burning has worked out very well. Can someone let me know if I can fix these files? Or do I have to just try and dl mpeg only? Thanks for any help!!

I found that this problem occurs with AVIs encoded with the XVID codec. I got round the problem by flipping the AVI upside down first with VirtualDub & then Nero will flip it the correct way round. Just load your AVI into VirtualDub, set Audio and Video to direct stream copy and select the vertical filter in the video menu.
