  2. It looks like the Verbatim drive could be either a Ricoh MP-5125 OEM or a NEC ND-1000A, see here.

  3. I saw it at SAM'S Club yesterday for $215.00. When I looked at the specs it looks just like Memorex's, which is based on Ricoh.

  4. Yeah that's where I saw it. I think I might go Sony. It does DVD_-R/_-RW seems to be the way to go.

  6. The verbatim? We'll it's a stopgate till this -+r thing swings in one direction. They do make the meadia that I have used for years so, i trust their name. Altho I have been using HP to write on that media.

  8. I Picked one up Yesterday the verbatim for $169 after rebates. Good deal and it works well. It is an NEC ND1000.

  10. i just bought a verbatim dvd+r and it works perfectly
    Also to let yall know, i see more dvd+r medias at my local bestbuy store ihihi and they are cheaper too.
