when i encode the avi to vcd or svcd, the picture only takes up 75 percent of the screen on one corner. it does this in any setting of 4:3 or 16:9

how can i resize/encode or whatever to make it full screen?

What's the resolution of the source file? I suspect that's the problem.

I think the resolution is the problem. CCE will encode the output to same size as the input. 512x384 is not a size that a DVD player can size to full screen. You might try Tmpeg again but use 352x240,resizing down will probably look better. Use 2-pssVBR to encode,it yeilds the best quality ni Tmpeg.

  7. is tmpgenc the only encoder that will change the resolution because i really like using cce.
