  1. Today I tried to write my first VCD, but sadly it didn't work, or maybe I am just doing something wrong. First I took the video and went ahead and ran it through VirtualDub. After that I went to TMPGEnc and cut the video into two files. Last thing I did was burn the VCD using Nero. When the VCD was done burning I tried it on my dvd player that listed that it could playback VCD on it. It didn't work there so I tried it on my brothers DVD player and it still didn't work. I can't think of why it didn't work. I used a TDK Data CDR with 700mb. Please if anyone could tell me what I might be doing wrong or offer me some advice that would be great.

  2. Did you render it as a VCD compliant MPG-1 file before you burned it?
