I just purchased the card myself and found that it doesn't work with xp updates at all , and several other types of software on your system screw it up too,
I installed a new drive with a fresh xp install with nothing else but their capture software and it works great
Problem is I have to unconnect the drive and hook up my activated xp drive to do anything else
I have the same problem with the ADS instant dvd, It works great for straight capture without editing on a system with nothing else on it. but don't work for 5 minutes with your normal everyday software and printer, modem and internet connections
Both my systems are P4 and plenty of memory and large drives
I starting to think all these capture devices work great if you use your computer for video capture and nothing else period. -
Sorry forgot to mention the Canopus Forum is where I found out why I couldn't get it to work , There is post after post that it doesn't work with windows xp updates
