    I looking for a program that will give information on an mpeg2 file, i.e audio bitrate, max/avr video bitrate. Any suggestions.

    "bitrate viewer" will give a lot of details

    It doesn't give you audio bitrate though does it?

    windows media player or windvd can give you that ..
