  1. Has anyone tried capturing divx 5.02 or xvid for the new kiss dp-450 dvdplayer?

I got this machine yesterday and noticed that none of my iuvcr captures work. Usually the codec was not even recognized or at best played only 5fps with audio and video going on and off. These files played flawlessly on my pc.

At least some of the files captured with Virtual Dub seem to work quite well. I have the latest firmware.

I capture directly to divx and compress the audio afterwards. This works quite well with my computer (Athlon 1400 with 768mb memory and 40gb hd).

  6. I did some testing. Captured files play fine on dp-450 if I capture them with Virtual Dub or FlyCap. Files originally captured with iuvcr play at 3.52 fps and report wrong duration even if I re-encode both video and audio with virtual dub. I did several tests with various diferent options.
These same files play quite nicely on my pc. I used both xvid and divx 5.02 codecs and convert audio later from pcm to mp3. I use iuvcr version 4.10246 beta. I guess the only solution is to use virtual dub or flycap in the future (or maybe try another iuvcr version).
