DivX4log is an multi-pass AVI encoding tool, which writes log files of each pass and lets user to configure the pass and bitrate settings independently after each run - eventually creating a collected bitrate log file which is optimized for each scene of the film. This is useful especially for movies with high action and lots of colour variety (like in for example big budget HK movies).
The question is this: is there a similar filter or tool for use with an SVCD encoder (I personally use TMPGEnc)? Has anyone tried creating for example an avisynth script and succesfully transferred bitrate settings to TMPGEnc, and what would be the best way to carry out the whole procedure?
