  1. Hi!

My Problem is that when I try to convert a VCD out of a Divx AVI (size 690MB), It finds the Video out of AVI but not the Sound... I read on a site that sometimes i need to split the sound and video from a file then and convert the sound to PCM Wav then add it back... but how, as it can't find the sound at all? all it says is that it's a illegal MPEG... odd! can anyone please help me?

I do have another problem.. I tried to multiplex a MPEG2 to MPEG1 (VCD Header trick) but it cuts the movie after just about 100MB's Why??
Is it better if I convert the MPEG2 to VCD normal way?

    Btw, I'm using TMPGEnc

    Would appreciate help :D

You can use VirtualDub to rip the audio from the file. Load the avi file and ago to the File Menu and choose 'Save Wav', then re-encode and use the saved wav file as the audio file on the tmpgenc front page
