  2. more than likley one of the files of the instalation has gone walk about.
    the best thing to do is;

    uninstall all versions of Eazy VCD from your computer

    download the new full package from the download page on http://www.eazyvcd.tk

    install the new full package of Eazy VCD 1.14e

    make sure that you have one of the ASPI Layers from teh download page on the website installed.

    Restart your computer.

    Let me know if this fixes the problem for you.

  3. Yes, I tried that and still the same result. The Error 53 still comes up right away. Is there an earlier version that might work for me? Or am I reaching here?

    Thanks

  4. ok then, have a look in your c:\Program Files\Eazy VCD\ directory and there should be the following files and folders;

    BeSweet <FOLDER>
    dvd2avi <FOLDER>
    help <FOLDER>
    TMPGEnc <FOLDER>
    VCDImager <FOLDER>
    auth.dll
    DVD2AVI.ini
    Eazy VCD Release Information.txt
    Eazy VCD.exe
    Eula.txt
    Hen.ico
    INSTALL.log
    UNWISE.exe
    vStrip.exe

    could you tell me if any of those files/folders are missing.

    also, look in your C:\ directory and tell me if there are any files named temp.txt, temp1.txt, temp2.txt ect ect. If there are, you you please post teh contence of these files.

    also, click the windows START button and then click RUN.
    now type in;
    COMMAND.COM
    and then hit enter.
    You should now see a Black Command line box come up.
    if you get an error message like, "windows could not find the file command.com" or somtrhing like that, let me know.

  5. Thanks for responding Rob,
    All the said Folders /Files are there. The only difference is the DVD2AVI.ini reads as DVD2AVI config. settings.
    There were no temp.txt files that I could find anywhere and the Command. Com entry came out fine.
    Thanks for the support...

  6. Rob, I've tried many things. Even tried a System Restore (to an earlier date) on Xp. However, the System Restore would only allow me to back-date 1 day for some reason... I'm thinking about reloading Windows.
    Any thoughts on this?

    Cheers

  7. it is quite odd that it was working and now it isn't.
    have you installed any other software, or made any changes to your hardware before you started to get this error?

    it may be that your ASPI Layers have stuffed up too.
    try deinstalling all your ASPI Layers and then restart your pc.
    Install the ASPI Layers again and the restart your pc once more.
    it may work it may not, but it's just a thought.
