I want to thank all those that have responded to my post and to all those people that contribute to the vast amount of information and knowledge that is shared on this (and associated) web site(s), specifically Doom9, where the guides and programs have helped me get over many roadblocks.
I've just finished my 3rd burn and all movies are running perfect on my old DVD player. My first one would not work in the old DVD player because it was a DVD+RW disk,.. and the player would not load it. With the help of DVD Bitsetter software, I was alble to modify the setup in my AOPEN DVD Burner such that each DVD+R comes out looking like a DVD-ROM. In this way my old player can't tell the difference, since DVD+R media is virtually the same as DVD-ROM. Anyway, it works perfectly.
I was also able to take DVD movies that I ripped long before I knew what I was doing and correct there proglems with IFOedit,.. a fantastic program.
My last movie was ripped with DEcrypter which is another very fast program that does a great job. I stripped out un-necessary parts using IFOedit and then burned with NERO. All the step are very simple (once you have done it two or three times) and are much faster than expected.
Thanks again.
