    I know there are programs out there where you can burn a Playstation 1 CD without having a modchip or anything...
    but are there any programs where you can copy Playstation 2 games on DVD-R without needing a modchip or something?

    lots of sites promote their mod chips by saying they read PS2 copies, but it's all bullshit. For the moment, it is very hard(or impossible) to get a PS2 disk copied

    (btw, those PS1 copy programs, they're bullshit too, you NEED the mod chip)

    yeah, thats bullsh!t, since the problem is not software related. PS1 CDs got some bad sectors that only the PS1 can read, so when u try to copy a CD the PC cant read those sectors. You'll always need a chip, Game Enhancer or a good emulator.
