Hello,
I searched the forum and tried the several suggestions to my problem already (first splitting the WAV and then muxing it back with TMPGEnc) etc. but all with the same results:
If I convert a 24 FPS DivX Avi to a SVCD with the NTSC Film Template in TMPGEnc the Video is *always* faster than the audio. I see, that TMPGEnc is doing this "Inverse Telecine" thingy and creates a 29 FPS MPEG. However, even if I select "don't do Frame conversion" I get a video that lags about 5 Seconds behind after 50 Minutes of film. However it starts out fine.
What am I doing wrong? With 29 fps NTSC or 25 fps PAL AVIs I do not have any sync problems. Only this one 24 FPS film gives me a headache.

I was so relieved when I found a way of fixing this problem that I have been looking for people with the same problem so help them (and spread a little holiday joy).

merry christmas. (and I hope it works otherwise I look like a huge jackass, dont I?) -
Thanks for your help, but since I don't own Adobe Premiere, I cannot follow your instructions.. but this Wav-stretching thingy could be handy. I'll try around a bit...
