I find that if I leave the computer idle while its encoding, TMPGEnc slows down. That is, several hours are added on to the remaining encode time. But when I'm using the PC while encoding, it goes really fast. Odd, eh. You'd expect it to be the other way around.
Anyone else noticed this?

Do you have a screensaver or any energy saving features activated.

Don't know, give it a try.

TMPGEnc has a priority setting for both idle and active states of the pc, this is found under
Option --> Task Priority
you can set for active and non-active, maybe this is the answer your after.
