Help with DVD2AVI failure

Hi All,
Could really use some help with DVD2AVI.
I am running WinXP and as of about 3 days ago I believe that a recent update to the O/S has destabilized something that DVD2AVI is calling or using. I have no idea how to trace it down so any help/pointers from people more capable than myself would be greatly appreciated.

The message that I get from the MS Error window is as follows:

AppName: dvd2avi.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 015f6eec

Exception Information
Code: 0xc0000005 Flags: 0x00000000
Record: 0x0000000000000000 Address:0x00000000015f6eec

If I leave the MS Error window open, I can still continue processing with DVD2AVI but it is very annoying to continually have to move the error window off to the side.
If anyone can help me trace where the problem is or point to somewhere that would help I would be very greatful.

try uninstalling and reinstall, dvd2avi

it is quite common for such things to go haywire when an OS upgrade has been performed.
