  2. I don't remember if 7.6 does 480x480, but 7.7.0.1 does 480x480 MPEG (I just looked).
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

I have an ATI AIW Radeon with MMc 7.7.1xxx, and last week I captured in sVCD MPEG-2 at 480x480 a full two hours of movie from the Disney channel. It took me some time to get other things working but I finally edited out all the commercials, via TMPGen, and saved the new mpg file. Then, after finally getting a good ASPI driver for Nero, buned the mpg file to a CD-R. It played perfect on my APEX 1500 DVD disk. In the first 2 minutes of capture, MMC indicated <1% dropped frames, but this never increase for the next two hours. I could find no missing frames in viewing the output, and I had to view it about 30 times to edit out all the commercials. By the way,... there were 35 minutes of commercials in a two hour movie. The movie ended up at 1.5+ GB and it took two full 700 MB CD-R to save the movie.

ATI is getting much better with software and driver updates.
"Technology",...It's what keeps us all moving forward.
