Pioneer 104 and firmware?'s

Just bougt a 50pack of Ritek DVD-R's to use on my 104 and I am ready to make some "back ups" So far so good but I really want to be able to burn at the 2X speed. I have the latest 1.33 firmware at the time but it looks like I should have loaded 1.31 to do 2X, so a couple of questions

1. Where can I find ver 1.31 ? 1.33 is the only one on the Pioneer webpage

2. Can you downgrade your firmware or will it mess everything up
