  1. Ok.
    I used this guide here
    http://www.digital-forums.com/dvd2dvdr/intro.htm

Let me say this is an aewsome guide. Even i figured it out.

Ok so I was copying Road Trip(dual-layer, 7gb)
After finishing all the steps my final movie was down to 2.5gb.
Picture looks nice, but i think i am sacrificing a little on quality and i have a couple gb to make it up.

So my question would be how do i modify the step in Tmpgenc to make it rip at higher quality but still keep everything working properly.

    So thats it,
I really like this guide and its pretty quick.
So i am assuming its something with bitrate setting somehow.
higher the bitrate i am assuming higher quality.
Any negative things that might happen by changing bitrate to high.

    Thanks a lot!

Did you use a bitrate calculator?

you can change the bitrate higher with no ill effects of the movie, it will just make it better.

plug in your minutes and use the bitrates it gives you ( or about 50 lower to be safe)
