  1. Hello, (First i'm sorry about my english)

    i have a divx/avi file with dolby5.1 ac3 sound

    I want put it on a dvdr to look on a stay alone dvd player.
    I wan't to keep the ac3 5.1 sound in it when i play it in a stayalonedvdplayer i have dolby surround to.


    i hope some one can help me

  2. open the avi file in virtualdub
    Select Audio->direct stream copy
    File->save wav

    rename wav file as movie.ac3
    run it through ac3fix.exe (use goolge to find this)

    Encode VIDEO ONLY with Tmpgenc to produce an m2v file

    ensure you now have movie.m2v and move.ac3 in the same directory (note the names must match)

    Author to DVD-video with SPruceUp
