    Can some advise how I can boost the video quality on a vcd using tmpge without using the svcd option. If some one has a predefined templete that would be great if you could email it to me. dlb@talk21.com

    Also, what is best when encoding - High quality slow or Motion Search fast.

    Does the source video also look substandard?

    you wanna stick with standard VCD 2.0 right??? how about upping the bitrate and making an xVCD, but that would be non-compliant.

    motion search accuracy should always be set to high quality (slow), don't set it for any lower.
