  1. Hi All, I'm new to this forum.

I have a sony Sony DVP-NC655P that I am trying to play mpg/mpegs music videos I've downloaded from Kazaa. I've copied several videos onto different types of cd-r's (IBM and Verbatim) and tried to play them in my sony but the player doesn't recognize the data. Instructions on this site say to "close" the session when burning is complete but no dice. Am I missing a step?

One more question: I have Adobe Premier 5.1 and was wondering if this program has the capabilities to create DVD's.

    Thanks for your help

You must author and burn as vcd, svcd (or dvd if you have a dvd burner). And the mpgs must be in vcd, svcd or dvd compliant format then.

  3. Wow that was quick!

    Thanks Baldrick,
I'm sure that was my mistake as I was creating the cd's with easy cd creator 4 here at work. I have Roxio 5 at home so I'll give that a shot. Thanks again.

One more question: How do I know if an mpeg is in vcd, svcd or dvd compliant format? Before or after I burn the CD?

  4. OK so I'm creating the video mix in "video impression" and the write box is asking if I want to write video file to cd or Launch Roxio Video CD Creator to write a VCD format Disk Should I use PAL or NTSC? What is more common? I'm guessing Roxio VCD creator and NTSC...
