  1. Hi, I have a mpeg file with the following info:

    Frame size, fps 352x240, 29.970
    # of I,P,B frames 5255/24586/56472
    Average bitrate 1147 Kbps (140KB/s)

Audio 44KHx stereo, 224Kbps layer II

I haven't burnt it as a vcd yet, but when i use wma to play it, it seems jerky. I was wondering if i can use the above mpeg and convert it so that it has a constant bitrate of 1150 Kbps (standard for vcd, i think)? If so, will it make it less jerky? Or can i use some other methods to make it better? TIA for any help.

  2. Burn it! 5 minutes and 20 cents and You have Your answer! 99% it is standard VCD file and avg bitrate You see is result of some rounding/conversion errors. BTW nothing shows, it is actually VBR.
