I have one issue on audio file , it's LPCM bitrate 6921 Kbps 5.1 ch 24bit 48KHz ( after demuxing ) which is too big size for AVCHD format. Therefore, I want to resize by reducing the said bitrate to be around 4950 Kbps or desired value .
Pls. suggest me program ( on windows 7 ) that has the said function. Thank you so much in advance. Remark : I want to change only bitrate but still maintain 5.1 ch 24 bit 48KHz.

  2. you can't just change the bitrate, because lpcm is uncompressed audio

the only way to lower the bitrate is to use compression , either lossy or lossless

you might encode to AC3 or DTS audio (lossy) , or lossless like TrueHD, or DTS-MA

the only free way is to using AC3 , you might use eac3to to do that conversion

It's not free, you need a pro encoding suite, about $1500 USD for DTS-MA , $1000 USD for Dolby Media Encoder SE
