    Can I use Easy Cd Creator 5 platinum for burning vcd and svcd?

    Yes...one of the menu choices is "Make a photo or video cd"..
    Click on video cd....(then you can make a VCD )

    No.....you'd be better using the Freeware listed in the Tools section to your left.
    I use TMPGE for encoding and VCDEASY for authoring.
    Both work great.
