    I'm using Roxio Easy CD Creator to make vcd's but I keep getting: "Creator API error: Invalid Pointer". The OS is WIN 2000 with the latest DirectX plug-in (8.1b). Any one seen this before? Any Ideas to getting this fixed?

    I almost forgot:

    When i open VCD Creator, I get:
    "COM error in AdviseEngine: Invalid Pointer"

    Not sure what the problem is because I don't use Roxio. It may be an ASPI layer problem (search forums for details & fixes). However, I would recommend that you not use Roxio, but switch to Nero. Many, many people have posted different problems with using this software to burn VCDs.

    The latest version is 5.5.9.17. You may be able to upgrade on their site for free if you have an older version.
