    Hi,
    633 mhz intel 16gb HD Lite-On cd-r drive 256 sdram..

I burned a file to vcd and it plays on my parents dvd player with a slight audio synch problem. I have read about framerates? Could this cause the problem? I think the file was in pal format and I converted it to ntsc. It was an .avi file.
    used TMPGenc and VCDeasy.
this vcd "stutters" in my player and has a really squashed image on my room mates player so I assume I did something wrong still.
My main question is what does the bad mpeg packet warning in vcdeasy mean and how do i fix it and with what program? I will re-read thru the guides for newbies again but probably will not get it lol.

The files I usually download via kazaa.

Any help from those that know what theyre doing will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

Sometimes bad packet errors come from bad multi-plexing. Try multi-plexing with bbMPEG and see if that fixes your problems. Also, sometimes overburning your files can give you bad packets on your disk and can make the disk unreadable at the end.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P

bbMPEG is a program mainly used for multi-plexing the video and audio streams into one stream. Also, click on Tools and its under the "MPEG2 and MPEG1 (VCD,SVCD,DVD) Video Encoders" section.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P
