I have a large DVD that I have ripped the .vob files to the HD. I fully understand and have the following tutorial working:
http://www.doom9.org/ (Split a DVD to 2 DVD-Rs)
...but I would like to strip all the menus, warnings and extras and create my own title screen. The way I have been doing my own titles is using DVD Maestro and importing .m2v and .ac3 files.
Well since the the DVD I am ripping is too big for 1 DVD-R I have ripped all the .VOB files to my HD. Split the .vob files into 2 disks as described by the tutorial. Now I would like to extract the .m2v and .ac3 files from the .vob files in the seperate directories on my hd so I can import them in Maestro and finish my DVD authouring. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Thanks johneboy, I have 6 .vob files that I would have to strip both the m2v and .ac3 then re-merge. Worried about a sync or some other issue arising doing it this way. Instead I found a way to get Smartripper to extract the files I needed. But thanks anyways.
