  1. it's a djungle out there with many differnet codecs and stuff like that. Sometimes I get a new avi och mpg-clip and for some reason it doesnt work, even though other clips do.

for instance it can lag during the movie, or the colors can be all wrong och it doesnt work at all!

Now i wanna know where the nifo regarding this is, and how I find the info for whats needed, if the clips gets going but something's still wrong, for instance if it lags as i mentioned before.

I really appreciate any help on this matter!

    Thanks!

  6. simple download a program called avicodec run the video file through it and it will tell you the audio and video codecs used in the avi then simply click on the web button and it will take you to the downloadsite for that codec

  7. I tried to fox a dvix i have, where the colors are wrong and it lags like hell. Like framedrops or soemthing.

Anyway, I checked it out with AVIcodec and clicked to see what codec to use, and dowloaded it and installed it (already had the NIMO 5.0 though)..

Anyway, there was no difference in the avi-movie.

THe same goes for another movie with lag and wrong colors. Not there either did it work...and idea why or what that comes from'?

  8. Ok, one more thing:

in the AVIcodec program when i have loaded an avi-file, what does the inof under "Codec and filters" say?

Does it tell me what codecs and filters I have, or what codec and filters i need?

    Thanks

  9. Uhm, the AVIcodec prog doesnt seem to work wither, cause I download and use the progs that they want me to (and it is always the same two progs) and it doesnt make any difference.

    Hmm...
